Arts Alliance Evidence Library is an online library of evaluation reports and other studies of arts projects and programmes in criminal justice settings.


Clinks is a national membership body that supports the involvement of voluntary and community organisations in the Criminal Justice system.


The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is part of the Ministry of Justice and comprises the Prison Service and the Probation Service.

Skills Funding Agency (SFA)

The SFA is responsible for awarding and managing the contracts with "education providers" to deliver education in prisons.

Southbank Gamelan Players

An ensemble-in-residence at the Royal Festival Hall, SBGP is regarded as one of the leading Javanese Gamelan ensembles outside Indonesia. Several of the Good Vibrations team are members of the group.

American Gamelan Institute

The American Gamelan Institute is an organization devoted to publishing, recording, distributing, and making available information on all aspects of Indonesian performing arts and their international counterparts.

The Gamelan Programme at the Southbank Centre

The Southbank Centre has had a Gamelan for over 20 years and runs a variety of workshops and courses for the public, schools, companies etc.

St Giles Trust

The St Giles Trust runs a variety of services designed to help ex-offenders, including finding accommodation, help with finding a job, and community-based training.

Code 7 Music

Code 7, based in Brixton, runs various music-based services and training for local young people, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending, including recording studios and a radio station.

Koestler Trust

Arts by offenders - promoting the arts in prisons and beyond.

Tomorrow's People

Tomorrow's People helps break the cycle of unemployment so that people can take positive control of their lives and build a brighter future.

Dance United

Dance United works with those who are marginalised in society and whose potential is often unrecognised or unfulfilled, using contemporary dance training and performance to unlock people's potential.

Fine Cell Work

Fine Cell Work is a social enterprise that teaches needlework to prison inmates and sells their products. The prisoners do the work when they are in their cells, and the earnings give them hope, skills and independence.
